Three new spots were created for BBC New Talent’s campaign to call for entries in their annual search for talented young creative people.
In ‘Young Storytellers – Crocodile’ the full CG crocodile was created in 3D using Maya software; it was modelled, rigged and textured over a 2 week period, working in parallel with the shoot and off-line edit. Once the edit was finalised there was then just a 5 day period to animate, light and render the crocodile and to composite it into the edit, blending it with layers of practical effects passes and CG particles using flame.
